What the editors look for
Made with care, described accurately.
- Beer, wine or cider made by an independent producer, with a focus on the Midwest and the regions the Guide covers
- Products that are available to buy now, at your taproom, tasting room or in stores
- Accurate details: style or grape, ABV, vintage, and where the grapes or ingredients were grown
- We may ask for a sample or tasting before a final decision
Submitting does not guarantee a listing. Guide selections are separate from the Festival and from Crown Recognition, and none of them is required for the others.
